Its common knowledge, the first thing she addressed at the last AGM was her sale of shares and then immediately gave nearly a years notice of her next lot of shares she is going to sell which are going to vest in August this year. @asb83, if you could sell a few million dollars worth of shares that you only paid 63c each on and still be left with $30m to $50m worth of shares like some on the BOD you would you not do the same ? Move along, nothing to see here as they would say.

By the time they need or want to sell some more shares the remainder of the shares they still hold would of likely gone up by multiples of the $$$ amount they sold down. Jayne H is what is called a HPI (High Performance Individual). Her job is to grow the company to the next level, she needed to sell shares issued to her that she foregone when she left Jetstar to  fund prior commitments. She gave her reasons, she is sorry that shorters used the info to spread fear but that is not her problem. Those that sold into it have only themselves to blame and she rightly does not give a toss if they gave into their fears. Her job is not to worry about shareprice gyrations and snowflakes who sell their A2M shares on manufactured rumor mongering and then had pangs of regret.

You and I dont have to like her or her share sales actions, your only concern should be in how the company is traveling and what value she can add to it. By all accounts the 68% ownership of the total shares on A2m's register that are held by institutions should tell you those in the know and trusted with near enough of $7billion of investors money are comfortable with the company, Jayne, the BOD and the companies future. Have you seen any notices of insto's selling down to under 5% in the recent SP surge ?

No one is mocking those locking in profits but at the same time no one should be bagging those still holding. No one went broke taking a profit my broker from decades ago used to say. But how do you think those that bought in the cents to low single $ figures feel watching their exit price multiply bag by bag ?

If the company is coming out with stellar profit announcements and giving guidance that they expect it to continue for years to come hence no divis or share buybacks on the horizon is a clear sign the company is on a tear. Then they go on to tell you the biggest IF player cant make a dent in the A2 space, their product cant get traction not because of lack of supply on their behalf but because it is unloved by the buying public and existing stock had be priced reduced to move old stock off the shelves. Its all good and directors cashing in a few million of their A2M share portfolio that are still valued in the tens of millions after their sales should tell you it means diddly squat, they know the only way is up and are enjoying the spoils of their SP gains as they rightly should considering their remaining holdings.
