BKL mentioned softening consumer sentiment and softer local china sales, but still growth in China market through Australian sales bound for China. Just an opportunity for shorters to link A2M and BKL. There was a guy here about a year ago that tried to do the same and lost a lot of money. BAL tried to do it as well a couple of years ago, till we saw A2M sales that year and realised what a screw up BAL management were.
There is only one more day before another record profit is announced here. Any excuse to shakeout out retail investors will do, especially by those large volume of shorters very clearly out of the money and will have to take a loss at some point. It's just a matter of minimizing that loss.
