Before Christmas, Danone and Yashili International Holdings reached agreement. Danone is to pay around NZD155.6m (US$103.2m) for the 49% stake in Yashili New Zealand, with an investment subsidiary of Yashili International Holdings, Yashili (HK). . Danone is also a shareholder in China Mengniu Dairy.
Danone won't touch A2 Milk, because of Fonterra?? They will take farm by farm from Fonterra, Yashili and Danone pay their farmers more for their milk than Fonterra.
I did write to A2 Milk last August...and suggesedt they invest in Manuka Honey or put out a dessert (in the form of a yogurt for pet food - There are no dessert line/s for pets, anywhere.. My sister makes up yogurt for a Chinese lady who breeds pedigree puppies, using puha juice, kahikatea honey, etc - the Chinese lady demands she uses a2 milk powder, puppies sell for $1500 plus each, yoghurt price $150 for 5 litre bucket. Apparently my emails are sitting with the A2 Marketing Team???
