I don’t know how they know but they seem to.
As of last Friday shorts had dropped markedly to around one and a quarter million still open.
Since then around 290,00o have been traded to yesterday which possibly takes the number of open ones down to under a million .

Of the many indicators around right now this is one of the most interesting?
I will miss the close but so far today it has also been much quieter in the Vinva (& ilk) bat caves.
Maybe everyone is loaded up and ready for a selling spree if there IS an announcement?
Except my confirmation bias thinks NRW will not stop at one.
