DRILLING REPORT – WORRIOR-2
Cooper Energy advises that the Worrior-2 has been cased and suspended as a dual zone oil producer
from the Birkhead and McKinlay formations. The rig is commencing completion operations which are
expected to be finished by 20th September.
Worrior-2 will be brought on line by month end at an initial rate of approximately 2000 barrels of oil
per day. The well achieved its objectives by intersecting two oil zones in the McKinlay and Birkhead
formations, as well as gas pay in the Patchawarra Formation.
On release the rig will move to the Arwon location, where it will spud the Arwon-1 exploration well
in which Cooper Energy NL has an 11.2% interest.
Cooper Energy NL advises the status of Worrior-2 at 0600 (CST) on 15 September 2004 as follows:
Location: PEL 93; approximately 55 km south-west of the Moomba oil & gas
facilities, and approximately 250 m to the north-north-west of the
Worrior-1 producing well
Spud Date: 17:00 hours on Monday 23 August 2004
Days Since Spud: 22
Total Depth: 1751 metres in the Pando Fm
Interests: Stuart Petroleum Ltd (Operator) 70 %
