Stayer, I should have used a screen shot not a link as that link is to the current BOM 8 day forecast. At the time it was SE QLD and NSW looking promising. They got some rain that softened the grain price a bit but cattle prices didn't rise as much as predicted. Hasn't been anything of consequence since unfortunately.
The reported US wall of beef hasn't had an impact yet and I am not sure it is going to be significant. The US has a long history of being able to absorb increased volumes of proteins. The currency is certainly a positive and the demand for premium branded beef till seems to be strong.
