Couldn't agree more re the fundamentals... and must admit that I was surprised to read up about Austal, after I first saw the weakness in the chart, and gain some insight to the apparent robustness of the Co.
However, I did notice, night before last on ABC business program, the CEO was being very careful to mention that contracts with US were not entirely certain, and despite the good press of late, there are always caveats concerning possible global slowdown affecting demand for new ships and boats.
Also... this is a pretty lightly traded stock... for price to hit $1.80 would only require a determined seller, and once hit a rebound in double-quick time could well occur.
