Agreed Gooch, the Board is too big, and to be frank the skill set is not what is required right now to go the next step. New logo's and color schemes for presentations just do not do the job.
The Koncera system is a large gold system for sure. But in such systems when the rewards come too easy and too fast, the geos tend to get a highly elevated view of their own worth and skill set, and exploration is not as tightly focused, screened and generally managed as it should be. You see this very often. You get such mantra as "just do soils and auger and then drill the $#@ out of it", which unfortunately can (and often) means they spend a lot of money for little return. It appears this is what might of happened.
You see variations of this thinking and actions, with large companies when they go on M and A binges, and you can see the results, with massive impairment charges for companies like Barrick, Kinross etc announced over the last 6 months. Same kind of thinking/bravado....for massive shareholder losses
The resource sector needs to get a lot smarter than it is and has been in the last few decades.
AMX needs to get back to basics, get very focused, get rid of the dead wood in the company and board and get the additional 400k oxide ounces...and communicate clearly and i a timely fashion (but they are not alone in the Junior sector in this regard)
