CHANNEL 7 has dumped plans to cover tomorrow's Caulfield Guineas meeting -- and will instead run repeats of cobweb-clad movies George and Mildred and Hotshots.
The decision is a major disappointment for the Melbourne Racing Club's sponsors, who rely heavily on the product exposure guaranteed by commercial television coverage.
Punters will have to view it on Foxtel pay-channel TVN.
