They may not, if you think that this decision was made for the benefit of you and your fellow shareholder then everybody is happy, but you might want to have a look at the EGO forum to see that not all is well in the world and that some believe that this decision was made so as to help the incumbent board at EGO survive in the 249D action that’s going on at the moment.
They do say that Blood is thicker than water.
