Robjm, I couldnt agree more. Although i feel that the capital return may have proped the share price up a little bit on the lack of news. Which is a good thing as we may have been around 20 - 22c when the "massive discovery" ann came out and only now be looking at 27, 28c rather then 32-33.
And im sure there would have been alot more people inclined to sell if they didnt think that they were going to recieve a 30% dividend on the current share price. (Even better then dividend really as it is tax free capital return) But in the big picture, it would be better for the company to hold onto the cash if they can spend it wisely on exploreation and create a promising return rather then giving it back now, only to ask for more money in the future and creating further dilution.
It still has to pass the AGM so i guess really what were waiting for is to see the level of confidence in this new discovery and weather or not shareholders believe managment can create a better return on the capital then they could themselves. Any serious long term holders would have to agree with us and let the company do their thing. Those in for the short term would rather take the cash in my opinion.
Guess as always time will tell, and with one month untill the agm... we might as well put our feet up
