Ah, another biased opinion. So, I take it you didn't get your dividend when the mining boom crashed.

If you take a look at a lot of the explorers/prospective companies, most do the same, they shuffle their cash between entities for reasons other than to screw us over, and the larger companies to a greater extent. Some of the extremely successful companies I've worked with and studied through investing consist of several hundred entities with all taking a piece of the pie. Look at the big banks, the Commonwealth for example and the number of entities operating under them, then tell me who the real crooks are. I don't see a dozen people sitting on the CFE board as is the case with some other small prospective companies. A few on HC have even questioned the honesty or legitimacy of the company secretary working across multiple companies CFE are associated with, I think it is very good business sense to not employ multiple secretary's when obviously the one person can manage to handle multiple.

So do you think directors aren't well paid or do you just think they shouldn't be? Do you think a labourer or a tradesperson should get paid as much? It's a fact that those in positions where the money is, earn more than those that aren't. The world just isn't fair is it. Most of them, except the very old school, didn't enter the workforce until their late 20's or early 30's because they were studying hard to get their double degrees with honours and post grad studies so they could get themselves into these elite positions. As a comparison a specialist doctor who has studied for 7-9 years earns over $200 for half an hour. That's minimum $800,000 p/a for an average 40 hour week.

Then there's the expenses, taking prospective customers to dinners or travelling all over the place (including to dangerous sh?tholes like the DRC) isn't all that it's cracked up to be. I lived the lifestyle for a while and at the end of the day it is crap and no amount of money can compensate for the time away from family or even the nights at home sleeping in your own bed. Motel rooms and entertaining customers really is a drag, continually putting on a smiling face, sucking up to people even if they are poor human beings.

At the end of the day it's a fact that not every prospect comes to fruition, actually only a very small percentage do, at least CFE directors protect their company and continue to keep on trying to find the next winner. Other companies simply fold and take the money and run.
