Really is a waste of time trying to explain possible reasons for the company making the decisions they have made in the past. Some good, some bad, even the most switched on directors make bad decisions and fail on occasion. Hindsight really is an amazing thing. If any of us had the ability to see into the future we would all be very wealthy. How many companies (Fortesque management comes to mind) have made poor decisions on occasion, resulting in disgruntled shareholders. I bet everyone who bailed and slagged Andrew Forrest in the early days have now lived to regret their decision.
