I hold URL for only 2 weeks, and come to learn that Copperco did send a $20M bid offer to URL before Copperco collapsed in 2008.

CFE bought the Copperco asset later and holds 4% of URL which was held by Copperco previously.

What's their opinion on the merger and URL and VCN? Also Xstrata.

Personally I don't like the merger! Previous shareholder's interest on URL is full diluted. VCN's $28M cash does little to Roseby $240M copper project, and the copper and nickel resources held by VCN in Finland is too small.

Market was very quiet on the merger news, hopefully we can hear some reply from CFE or Xstrata next week.
