@mistyrains No I haven't started yet but will be soon. I've been in contact with an FP Markets Account Executive over many months now who keeps on emailing me wanting to know when I would like to start trading. He has offered me a 3 month no minimum commission period as an incentive. Actually he sent me an excel spreadsheet with all of the ASX, NAS, and NYS CFDs and related margins back in November last year.
I was delaying my entry into CFD trading pending the completion of my "all encompassing" CFD trading system, but I think now that I will start by using a far simpler system based on Ichimoku and using a very similar method to what I understand yours to be. I'll start by looking at the charts and selecting a number of ASX stocks that seem to swing nicely and restrict my initial trading to those, while I work on my more comprehensive Trading System. I'll be able to trade at low commissions so I'll be able to minimise the risk while I become familiar with IRESS Trader.
Do you use the new IRESS ViewPoint or the IRESS Trader platform?
