There are entities looking to takeover/acquire several REITs at the bottom of the cycle and it looks like we at or near that point in time.
With an improving retail environment in the US the next round of re-valuations on REITs (with some exposure to that market) can expect higher values and action on the SP as suitors vi for a piece of the pie.
Oz property REITs should also benefit.
