Technically you are correct. I will grant you that.
The CART T process involves taking white blood cells and reengeneering them to recognise cancer cells, reprogrammes them andthen reinjecting them into the patient.
Mesoblast takes the mesenchymal lineage adult cells and regenerates them to provide "off the shelf" allogeneic cells (meaning stem cells from a single donor can be used different recipients without the need for matching). Injecting these back into patients to provide therapy.
Both looking to use cells to provide therapy which is an area of healthcare that is receiving increased interest by the FDA at the moment.
