Farmed salmon production continues to increase despite a two per cent fall in the volume of Australian fisheries production, in 2006-2007 the gross value of prouduction increased by two per cent to A$2.18 billion.
This increase reflects the continued strong growth in production of farmed fish not just in Australia, but in the world.
