Fish are an important source of protein for the world's growing population, while the supply of wild fish is limited, aqucaulture represents an opportunity to increase seafood consumption worldwide. The health benefits of eating seafood are well documented and make it even more important to increase the supply of seafood. Hence this Malaysian company choosing CAQ as a partner to build and operate what will be, the largest land based aquaculture company in the world.

I have been an advocate of the aquaculture industry and know that it's growth will continue, Although Japan will remain the biggest fish consumer on a per capita basis. China will take by far the largest amount of fish by 2010. an estimated 28 million tonnes.

I don't think Cell is on anyones radar yet, but IMO as soon as we covert institutions will be all over this company like bees to a honey pot.
