Word back from JCU is that a group did visit the aquaculture fecility at the university in Queensland late last month, Linnaeus had a full tour that covered marine biology, science and the research center, but I am told that the cherry on the cake was Cells commercial hatchery facility that the group were very impressed with.
The hatchery is CAQs 100% and the brood stock can produce fingerlings on demand, Cell can airfright fingerlings around the globe at times with zero mortalities, which is very remarkable.
The company says it is in discussions in assessing a number of collaborative opportunities, I think it will be very interesting to see the direction CAQ is headed.
