I must admit, at the prices both BSG and CDE are presntly at (even with the fact that the shareholders of neither company like the deal), they both look badly oversold, to me.

In most normal circumstances, I would look for a big bounce in CDE once gold and silver prices start on their next up-leg (I think CDE would get back to US$4.00 pretty quickly on sector sentiment alone).

However, these are not normal circumstances. 3 July is a big day (4 July, our time). I just can't see even our Board swallowing any further extensions of time for due diligence by CDE.
