What I think is extraordinary is that CCQ are actually paying for an independant expert!! Must be brave shareholders not to take this wonderful get out of jail free card from CTN.
Mind you CTN shareholders are also lucky that CTN cashed up in late August to prepare for the takeover offer. 83.5 cents is not bad value considering you will get 8.5 cents in fully franked ( maybe) dividends for the 2012 financial year!!!!!
This transaction which would account for only about 15% of the value of CTN. Its better than the sale by Coe / Fell of Rubicon to Allco.
