CBA has halted its 4bn demerger of its trading wealth management part of the bank.
Is this what a lot of people have been trying to get the banks to do? Splitting the brokerage/trading bank off into a separate entity?
CBA says it has halted the demerger so they can better deal with the fall out from the Royal Reaming.
Me thinks given banks past actions and culture this is not the whole story.
