I had a quick look at AKM and the only real similarity I see is they will both ship product via rail.

AKM is coal, just a little different to bauxite (which I'm sure you know).

CAY have a rail line within a few kilometres of their prospective mining area so much less head wind there.

Also, on the bauxite front, CAY's bauxite is not only large volume and starting at or near surface but also low impurity which means "...The Minim Martap bauxite is suitable for processing in low temperature refineries." ala the Chinese...(nudge, wink).

I understand the zero risk approach you are taking but I am much more interested in the 'full' profits of holding from now to development or takeover. The takeover scenario is far more likely IMO as the resource will be so large some will not be able to resist the temptation.

That is why I think sometime in the next 6 to 12 months we will likely see an offer of $2 to $3 per share or more and why I chose not to be a non-holder over this period.

There is increasing demand for imported bauxite in China due to its aggressive plan to build alumina refineries along the coastline amid a depletion of domestic high-grade bauxite.
China alumina supply is expected to be at deficit in 2018, and requires new capacities to fill the gap.
China alumina market is expected to turn to a deficit of 770,000 tonnes in 2018 from a surplus of 450,000 tonnes in 2017, according to Xu from Citic Futures.
Total alumina capacity for refineries that are being built and planned to be built along the coastline have exceeded 30 million tonnes, according to Yin Zhonglin of Aluminum Corp of China Limited (Chalco) Zhengzhou Research Institute.
The fall in grades in domestic Chinese bauxite has also pushed more inland refineries to turn to high-grade imported bauxite."
