    Thing is,20%they would still be making good coin. But like most things these days, when it goes it will probably overshoot. I have dosed myself up on all the bad news in global beef market, even without reading your link!

    I think, perhaps bravely ( due to share markets bring forward looking beasts) , that price is oversold at present. Whether it cracks the $2 again though I am not game to say.

    I have many times stated my doubts about their strategy, but should the cattle market drop more, then there may be a period when their retail meat may enjoy good margins...thing is , their lower cost more nimble competitors, will then be discounting well before them. Some brand power will help though I guess.

    Live export, still strong...which used to be their bread and butter! I sold a fair few from these levels to 2.05 , and have just bought a few back
