Mate I got lucky with KDR at 10cents when I invested in them based on the gold and they found the pegmatites in the old dd cores at Mt Holland. I never chose to invest in lithium, it chose me. The ESR story looked like a dead ringer for the KDR story so I put some of the plus 4 bags I made on KDR into ESR based on some added encouragement of a friend of mine. This is the only other lithium stock I have ever invested in and that was a mistake.
I'm not angry with lithium stocks I just don't believe in the strength of the prevailing narrative that is driving people to invest in what are essentially extremely low grade mineral deposits that need investments both in terms of beneficiation and transport, not to mention the tricky Chinese beavers that control a lot of the downstream processing and hence the overall market. You are basically talking about cartels.
I am however angry with ESR as they shouldn't have been allowed to promote the core samples they had as being "significant" when they weren't. Judging by the eventual assay results the pegmatites weren't even of the right LCT or NYF classes that would make them spodumene baring. That company should have never let those cores see the light of day in the market. They could have easily done some limited due diligence assaying and testing to ascertain that the dd cores from Mt Edwards were in fact of the wrong type but they didn't, choosing instead to go out and sell/pump the story prematurely. I'd say someone made a killing on that one. Esh
