my point with using the upper bound in your scenario would provide a min/max case with a very logical variable. 10mtpa at a fair spod price.

would provide more credence to your point your making if it's balanced, wasn't discrediting it just think using only a 2mtpa and assuming 100m cashflows for only 20y. isn't a great representation when it's a 100y asset at 10mtpa.
