The manufacturing method comprises the following steps of: mixing the polyethylene, the modified zeolite and the copper zinc alloy powder according to a certain mass ratio; molding, sintering at 170-250 DEG C for 1-3 hours, and heating in a stepped mode. When used for purifying drinking water in high arsenic and fluoride districts, the composite millipore filter element has the advantages of high efficiency, convenient operation and low operational cost. The defects of easy loss and inconvenient management of a bulk filter material and large size and large occupied area of used equipment are overcome.
