I had a most bizarre experience here in Vancouver. Went to a doughnut shop on Granville Island and ordered a blueberry doughnut. I got some change out of my pocket and the shop assistant said they only take debit card. I had the exact change but she refused to take it. No point arguing as it wasnt her policy but I was thinking things must be pretty good if you refuse custom based on your own derived policy.

I don't go back to places if they did what they did to you, an then I tell everyone about it. your right they can shove their donut if your money isn't good enough.
