The news has been highlighting the difficulty for many businesses to operate due to "technical problems."
Taxis and other businesses have not been able to process any electronic point of sale transactions due to problems with CBA and ANZ having computer issues. Some reports indicate it may be related to Telstra and these issues have been going in excess of thirty hours (as at time of posting) and they are still not resolved.
The news reader advised that could still transact and provide services if cash was used.
OH THE IRONY.
Looks to me like cash is King.
Looking at the bigger picture I can see issues like these could definitely impact crypto currencies.
The vulnerability to computer and telecommunication non performance is obvious!
