Interesting post. What's even more interesting is your posting history.
- You have actually only posted 9 times on 4 companies (not including general posts) including your most recent post on ELK since you joined Hotcopper in February 2012; - You do not hold any stock in any of the 4 companies you posted on; - Your posts on all the companies you do not hold stock in have all been negative usually about the companies lack of cash, being cash flow negative, having high debt levels or high number of shares, need for capital raising etc; - All the companies you post negatively on have seen their share prices increase since your posts: FML - up 17.6% BUR - up 40.7% AZZ - up 19.7% ELK - ???
I strongly believe in taking into consideration everyone's viewpoint irrespective of whether they are positive or negative and there is a possibility that what you have posted regarding a capital raising may actually occur especially if they fail to monetize the Grieve Pipeline in time BUT i'm hoping your track record so far means that it won't happen and ELK's share price will keep rising.
To be honest, I am not overly fussed if they are forced to carry out a capital raising. I have participated in all of ELK's capital raising since I became a shareholder and I am currently still making a profit. Capital raisings are a normal part of investing in penny stocks and ELK is no different. What's more important is how they use the funds raised and whether they result in a net increase in the company's value. Nevertheless, if there is indeed another capital raising, I hope that I will be able to participate once again.
What I don't agree with though in relation to your post is your comment about ELK's currently 'HYPED share price'. If you do some research on Denbury and Co2 EOR and understand that ELK is free carried for potentially 6.5million bbls of oil at Grieve which has just been reclassified as 2p reserves and understand that Ash Creek could potential add another 2 to 3 million bbls of oil, you will see that even at the current price of 31 cents, ELK is still SIGNIFICANTLY UNDERVALUED.
