The problem is that the price of gas appears likely to fall further in the near future. The point was well made by Ousia. The whole gas pricing method is likely to change with price convergence between Europe, Asia and North America a real possibility. The US is set to export massive amounts of LNG in the next few years which will have a strong effect on prices.
The best we can hope for is that the CBM LNG companies will want to export as much as they possibly can in order to make a return n their investments.
