You get to spend the next twenty years staring down the bonnet at the star. You even get to join your cities Mercedes Benz concourse society for the annual meetings and picnic days.

You buy a Holden you get a Holden experience and a $40,000 outlay. In five years time your getting 20 litres per hundred ks and seats that are so loose you get sea sick on short trips then you sell it for $8,000 on your next one thats another $35,000 outlay. Repeat this scenario over the same twenty year period thats 4 x $40,000 which is $160,000 and nothing but hopeless fuel guzzling Buick rejects to show for it.

I would take the Mercedes anyday.
