Offshoring works well for large structural jobs, such as highrises where there is a single standard to adhere to, but not as well for residential development work, which is the main work for the Australian Division. There are around 10 different Council's surrounding Brisbane, each with different requirements and development standards, then there are 5 different standards for the sewer reticulation etc.
Cardno do have offshore work bases in the Philippines, but the projects they can service is limited.
