Ecuador's been for sale for months and months, so clearly buyers aren't exactly falling over themselves to take it off CDD's hands.
"Profits" do not and can not pay down debt. Cash pays down debt. Cash and only cash. Just ask Eddy Groves. And CDD's OCF for this year is forecast to be $33m. Even assuming they match that in FY17, and ignoring interest charges, and assuming every single penny of OCF goes towards paying down debt- they'll still have over $50m debt in 12 months' time.
@croasian, remind me again, why is this such a good investment?
