If I was an owner of trees through the MIS I would be requesting an independent valuation of the biological asset, rather than having the company that wants to buy them tell me what they are worth.
I find the whole MIS thing confusing with this company. We were told in 2009 in a sky news interview that the company was diversifying away from MIS and that they would move away from selling MIS, yet the reliance to still sell retail projects in 2016 seems very high. This is assuming that what is now called retail is what used to be called MIS. The income generated from MIS or retail sales must be quite important for the balance sheet. Its possible that this years retail sales are not strong hence the capital raising.
