Swill has pointed out many design issues with the plant, clearly from his employment on site. What concerns me that the detail he is revealing would probably be in breach of confidentiality clauses. (Based on my own experience in site work for mining clients)
Often working on site you can be privy to information that if used yourself, or shared is insider information. For example, buying shares (either yourself, or telling a friend) in a company you have just done a favourable resource estimate for before the information is released to the ASX.
Swill, I'm not accusing you of anything, but be careful how much detail you choose to reveal. I haven't seen any specifics released to market regarding the retort and all the issues regarding pumps over lifters - but you seem to be pretty adamant about it. As for not having a belt available? They lost a couple of hours to half a day trial/ramp up production. That would be a bigger issue if the plant was running full pace, and establishing what replacement parts are on site are part of the process of ramping up.
As to Killa's dog whistling about the reliability of the JORC, the geologists sample the core to a method. Long gone are the days of sampling the "good stuff" to boost the assays. It just destroys your professional reputation. The labs are NATA accredited and subject to audit. Results are issues as certificates. So, if the independent assessor had access to the same data, and came to the conclusion that the method was sound, I'm going to have to trust that thanks very much.
