A nice move by the management. They need to grow this company by means other than straight organic growth, although organic growth will still be in the mix. The broadening of the share base through a capital raising is a good thing, and even better is the fact that the offer was oversubscribed. Although the company holds a reserve which it could issue if it so wished, there were unfilled buys for 4m shares. The results of that are seen today in the market where there is a healthy appetite for buying above the 35c capital raising level. My feeling is that this has been handled very well by the company. It positions AMA for possible expansion, debt reduction and an increased dividend - all the things investors want to see. I'm highly positive on the future for the company.
