whats the difference between a cap raise and a spp?

the company previously announced $10-12 mil in expenses to increase its capital. I wonder if this figure has now increased. There is already $5mil from excercised options (i think) and some cash on hand, so I am guessing that maybe $20 mil or more of capital will be bought.

If that reflects expansion due to organic growth, then I will be happy.

Any thoughts?
