kentbrock: To me quite the opposite: I like the idea of a bidding war with Beach. In fact, such a "war" could be over quite rapidly IF VPE puts a really decent offer on the table. (Perhaps to do so, they HAD to raise extra funds - pure speculation here of course).
This is the first real test of the NEW management: Is the oil part of the business really of interest to them and if so, they simply cannot let this go over to Beach in my view.
