I have just caught up with Rovira's presentation at the 121 Mining Investment New York on 5-6 June 2018. How come this was not announced by the company on the ASX since it provides important info for shareholders on a number of fronts? Demonstrates again the value of HotCopper and its members for sharing info.
The announcement that AZS has put Sara Alicia for sale is surely significant? I assume from this that there are discussions with other parties
I am not interested in the ongoing tussle between Mossman and dolcevita - it gets a bit tiresome. However, I note the following as a shareholder:
-AZS is a medium-long term prospect - Rovira says 2020 before Oposura in production.
-More funding will be needed to establish a producing mine at Oposura - Rovira talks in terms of $30-40M. Hence , selling a prospect like Sara Alicia has merit.
-AZS is a small company - don't look for it to act like a major. The free carry with Teck on Alacran is an asset.
-AZS is an explorer. Give it the expectation of success rate that belongs to speculative companies. Restrict your investment or at least recognise that you are taking a punt on a successful outcome. Sure, study the form but manage your commitment unless you want to go for broke.
-AZS now has 100% ownership of Oposura, albeit with 2.5% royalty on net production.
