Siriusco, as in southern part of the basin they believe it was once much deeper but cover has been eroded as fault blocks became uplifted. It's only shallow now in recent times. The Sthn discoveries are high qual. light sweet oil in reservoirs with amazing permeability in tilted fault blocks. They're getting huge flowrates in some of those wells. Shallow depth here just makes for v. easy drilling.
