Yes, the last week or so has been rather a pleasant experince share price wise.
In regards to a capital raising, I agree with Saracen10, no capital raising before the EGM. We already have enough lawyers running around, last thing CAP needs is a disbuted capital raising.
I think there are three scenarios regarding a capital raising:
1: AT the EGM the CAP board remains intact and decides to purchase the BMG share in Hawsons. To do this, we need to raise say $3.5 million, so capital raising takes place.
2: AT the EGM, the current CAP board services and then decides not to buy back the BMG share in Hawsons. Pure Metals have committed to a cash payment of $3.25 million plus monies owed to CAP under the BMG J/V which BMG. This is around another $3.25 million. So if this scenario plays out, CAP will still own 60% of Hawsons and have some $10 million plus in the bank. Hence, I don't think we will see a capital raising straight away and management will then start to look at how to progress Hawsons in conjuction with Pure Metals.
3: The current CAP Board gets rolled at the EGM and Pure Metals takes control of CAP. I have no idea what would follow (capital raising wise).
I think scenario 1 is most likely.
In terms of who is buying, I wonder if Mr Hillam is??? It would make sense as Hillam is desperate to stop Pure Metals / Silvergate getting control of Hawsons as he did not appear (to my knowledge) in the last top 20, he could buy a considerable number of shares with out needing to lodge a substantial holder notice. Question is, does he have the funds???
Anybody else attending the EGM next Wednesday?
