I think the Polish Princess won't do as well in QLD as people think (even though FXJ with its naked cartoons etc will obviously try to win her the sympathy vote in comparison with Premier Newman who makes Abbott look like a serious non-hilarious politician like noone else can) & LNP will get back in with slightly reduced majority so coal development is pretty safe as it is a state issue not federal powers act stuff imho but pls dyor. Don't know about AIA, could be hit by something similar to ChCh & have its own EQC to contend with etc. AIZ is safer & SPK & DOW for that matter. Income tax in NZ is still too high & with no childcare rebates, NZ is worse for middle incomers (that r not daytraders) than Australia for now at least. Australia also has Aldi & Costco embarking on a category killing grocery cost cutting program that will destroy grocery prices to their base rate floor & destroy the pricing power, SPS & even "going concern" status of WOW, WES (Coles) & MTS, so that is like a future tax reduction for most non-wealthy domestic resident Australians IMHO but pls DYOR. Oligopolies occasionally get broken.
