And lest we not forget the PPP style of contracts. Fund the lot, own the lot and hand the lot back after being harvested for a long term. Macquarie lead the charge on these in Australia many years ago and made plenty by funding the arrangements.
There is a good online subscription service called "Infrastructure Investor" that gives you insight into global I/F projects, arrangements and funding. You may know or subscribe to it already.
