sydney6791, Yes you are right about the coal thickness at Myroodah, given as average 14 metres thick. However, the coal is not fit for export at only 2,900 kcal/kg and is a sub-bituminous interbedded coal with etuffaceous mudstone/siltstone, high ash at 46%. All the results are for before 2005 and includes historic data. Much of the data was obtained when oil well Petalum-1 was drilled in 1986. Probably why little is shown in the 3.9c stock price for any coal at Mudjalla.
UXA are drilling the area but has no rights to any coal discovered, only uranium and any associated minerals.
