I accept everyone has a different view .... and will retire from the thread.
Taxotere (Docetaxel) has been relatively good for me from a symptom control point of view.
I am also a little cynical and sometimes quite disgusted by the regular news headlines screaming new breakthrough in cancer treatment.
At the same time I've seen a few alternative practitioners in my day .... Some decent souls, but I think their either quite delusional or maybe even a little dishonest.
Also a very relevant point that we are all mortal beings ..... we are born to die, a point a lot of us have a little trouble with.
Medicine may be a little like the police ..... We may profess our disgust and distrust of both .... but when the proverbial hits the fan, we tend to come running .... rather quickly.
