In respect to the most cutting edge efforts to deal with phosphorus and nutrient contamination of water systems it is Canada (with some nod to parts of the US and UK ) that seems to be leading the way. A deepening debate and collaboration of Science with Society is apparent thru the literature in Canada. It is has also been the case that it has been in Canada that phoslock has had some of its most successful applications and is seen with some favour by authorities. Would love to see PET establish a stronger base there!
