I respect your opinion, but they're hardly Pattersons.
Canaccord are fairly well respected in the upper end of town and usually only pin their name to quality stories.
When they first took that placement stock at a premium, it was looked upon as a win for BMT and if they are still involved (as I expect they are), current prices could be seen as an enormous opportunity.
