after two decades in the ag business I can assure you that I am yet to see a farming prediction of the 'end of the world' that actually eventuates.

Frot in particular is rarely a factor over a widespread area, rather localised events get exagerated into huge stories. Different varieties of wheat flower at different times so the one or evena series of frost events rarely take out everything, it tends to pool in lower areas, etc etc etc.

Here in Victoria and NSW farmers are looking at yields way above earlier forecasts and are instead more concerned about cr@p market prices.

As a trader that suits the AWB just fine. Cheap grain can often be turned into valuable grain if you are able to store it.
